Claims and Compensation

What can be claimed?

The Motorway Management Company (Aurea S.c.a r.l.) manages, on behalf of the concessionaire Tangenziale Esterna S.p.A., the works under concession in order to guarantee the best quality standards for Users on the section indicated below:

A58 Motorway – Tangenziale Est Esterna di Milano (TEEM)

Damages suffered by Users may only be compensated in the event that the accidents and damaging events are a direct consequence of the incorrect performance of the management activities of the road network under concession (A58 Motorway – Tangenziale Est Esterna di Milano) by the Management Company, provided that such failures and/or conduct constitute a direct and unequivocal cause of the event that caused the damage.

 

How to claim compensation

Users who have suffered damage while travelling on the route under concession may submit a claim for compensation using the “Damage and Compensation Claim Form”, available for download on this page.

In order to ensure a more effective and prompt handling of claims, all necessary documentation proving the liability of the Management Company and the damages suffered (photos, estimates, witness statements, inspection reports, expert assessments, etc.) must be attached to the claim.

In the event that the claim concerns one or more unrelated and/or transported third parties, the User must also enclose all relevant documentation, together with the authorisation signed by the third parties concerned, as indicated at the bottom of the Form.

As standard, the Management Company undertakes to process cases, only if submitted by the User using the “Damage and Compensation Claim Form”, within no earlier than 30 days.

 

How and where to send the “Damage and Compensation Claim Form”

In order to ensure faster handling of the procedures, the Form must be sent by the User by e-mail to the following address: sinistri@aureagestioni.it.

Alternatively, if online submission is not possible, the Form may be sent, by ordinary or registered mail, to the following address:

Commitments of the Management Company towards Users

For any clarification and/or information, Aurea S.c.a r.l. guarantees that Users can contact the Claims Office at the following e-mail address: sinistri@aureagestioni.it.

The Management Company ensures its commitment to respond to requests – if received within the aforementioned deadlines – within 30 days of their receipt, without prejudice to any delay necessary for investigation purposes.

Complaints may be made in the manner described in the “Complaints and Communications” section.
