INFORMATION AND PUBLIC CONSULTATION PURSUANT TO ART. 8 OF Italian Legislative Decree 194/2005 “Implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise”

PROPOSED ACTION PLAN (2023-2028)

Italian Legislative Decree 194/2005 “Implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise” places an obligation on companies and bodies operating public transport services, or related infrastructure, to draw up noise mapping and action plans for major roads.

The Action Plan identifies noise pollution problems, their impact, and the actions and measures that must be implemented to control environmental noise pollution, starting with the analyses already carried out in the Noise Mapping, which assesses the noise levels generated by motorway infrastructure.

In compliance with the requirements of Article 8 of Italian Legislative Decree 194/2005, paragraphs 1, 2 and 3, regarding information and public consultation on Action Plans, Tangenziale Esterna S.p.A. published the Proposed Action Plan for the A58 Tangenziale Est Esterna di Milano infrastructure (Code RD_IT_0075_001) on the institutional website, and also informed the public by means of notices on the main social media channels and in daily newspapers.

From 10/05/2024 for 45 consecutive days, anyone could submit written comments and statements using the following methods:

• Registered mail with return receipt addressed to Direzione Tecnica – Casello A58-TEEM – 20060 Pozzuolo Martesana (MI), indicating on the envelope or in the subject line “Piano d’Azione 2023-2028. Osservazioni ai sensi del D.lgs. 194/2005” (Action Plan 2023-2028. Observations pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 194/2005).
• PEC (certified e-mail) at the following address: tangenziale.esterna@legalmail.it.

The deadline for receiving proposals and comments from citizens expired on 24/06/2024 (inclusive).

The comments received will be evaluated for the purpose of drafting the final version of the Action Plan.

The Communication Report can be consulted on the site, which summarises the key steps of the project pathway that led to the definition of the mitigation measures in place and the activities planned for the 2023-2028 period.

Avendo, ai sensi del comma 6 dell’art. 3 del suddetto decreto, elaborato ed inoltrato nel mese di Giugno 2022 agli Enti competenti anche l’aggiornamento della Mappatura Acustica relativa all’anno 2021 per la tratta A58 Tangenziale Est esterna di Milano, per facilitarne la divulgazione al pubblico, come richiesto dall’art. 9 della direttiva 2002/49/CE, Tangenziale Esterna la rende consultabile dal proprio sito.
