Around 3 km of the TEEM runs through Pozzuolo Martesana territory on a raised roadbed (a few metres above ground level), overpassing the Milan-Bergamo rail line on a viaduct, and including a sliproad connecting to the new Brescia-Bergamo-Milan express motorway (Brebemi). The link between TEEM and ordinary roads will be ensured by building an additional tollbooth-equipped offramp.

The impact of the new infrastructure in this area will very much be limited by realization of the “Parco Locale Alto Martesana” Special Environmental Project, which involves planting tall trees on around 2 hectares and extensive restoration of the ecosystem.
