The Municipality of San Giuliano Milanese will not directly be affected by the TEEM motorway-grade route.

It will, however, marginally be involved in a number of works ancillary to realization of the new infrastructure, most notably the construction of two roundabouts. The first, to the south-west, will provide access to the new link between the “Binaschina” Strada provinciale (SP) 40 and the “Sant’Angiolina” Strada provinciale 17, while the second, to the south-west, will provide access to the new link, the SP 40 and the “Cerca” Strada Provinciale 39. This work runs through the Municipality of San Giuliano Milanese for a 1 km stretch.

The “Lambro-Rocca Brivio” Special Environmental Project also takes in San Giuliano Milanese, as well as the municipalities of Melegnano and Colturano. This SEP was conceived to mitigate the impact of the new link between the SP 40 and 39 through treeplanting. Furthermore, around 2.7 km of cycle/pedestrian paths will be upgraded (known as the “Percorso dei Giganti”) between Rocca Brivio, Melegnano Nord and Quartiere Sarmazzano.
